Good day boys and girls, and welcome to my unprecedented second post to a journalish type thingamabobber. It's a pity I didn't write anything on Friday because I think I had something really interesting to say about that day, but my elephant-memory has deleted all information that was gleaned more than 24 hours ago, except for the fact that I finally took out that bloody Salvatore (on my first attempt of the day, using the sniper rifle... don't remember who suggested it to me, but someone did).

But anyway, we shall now move on to Saturday. It started out like most of my Saturdays do. I got up, ate, and then drowned myself in the wonderful world of meaningless television and computer shit. But it gets better! You see, at about 6:30 we were supposed to go to some Turkish folk's house for dinner. I had assumed that this would be a dinner consisting of that family and us, and those are so much FUN! So naturally, I didn't want to go and partake of this rocking good time, citing that I had to work on a project which I didn't plan to work on. I ordered some Chinese at 7:00 thanks to funds provided by Parents Inc., and I was really looking forward to eating it when at 7:10 I received a telephone call from the mother of this kid in 8th grade named Samir (Turk). She asks me what I'm doing and everything, while I try to figure out why and how the hell she's calling me from what the caller ID says is the house where the dinner was. I tell her that I'm doing nothing, she asks if I can come over, and I say that I have to work on a project (with the greatest amount of awkwardness possible), she laughs and essentially says "yeah, right" and again asks me to come, now telling me that she had to forcibly drag Samir to the thing, only getting him to come after promising my presence (I was flattered). I assented after that--you see, last time we Turkish folk got together, I was somewhere else, leaving him with all the ladies (there's me, Samir, and about fifty females of varying ages). She told me that she would give me thirty minutes to get ready, then pick me up.

Boy... lemme tell you guys, I was PISSED; I had no idea that there would be other people there. I cooled off a bit as I took my extremely quick shower and got dressed, and when the doorbell rang, I was ready to go... but it was just the Chinese delivery boy! AH CRAP! I was greatly looking forward to inhaling my sesame chicken and meat dumplings. I paid him for the food and set it on the counter just as doorbell #2 rang, this time it was Samir's mommy, and we went to the dinner. Needless to say, I had a pretty sweet time getting my ass kicked at air hockey and I got Samir to join the fantasy baseball league! Woohoo!

Well, that's about all that I remember... we got home at about 1:30 and I heated up some of the sesame chicken after we got home and ate that. I must say, it was quite good even after being left out for 6 hours. Anyways, I'm probably gonna go out with my mommy and see some movie. I'm rooting for The Pianist myself since she doesn't wanna see Chicago. Oh well. Hasta la byebye, mis abuelos!

Grrr... ok... so... I have not written a bloody thing on this thing yet, and naturally I screw up in the postification of my first blog after working an incredibly long time on it (here's to not copying and pasting!). But meh... what are you gonna do. Anyways, for posterity, I will now try to begin to record myself so that one day when I am world-famous I can sell this to people for lots of cash.

My life has been really weird as of late... it started just before Spring Break started when el Senor Janda gave me a series news snippets about what was going on with la Sarah, the last of which being extremely discouraging (so discouraging infact, that we agreed that it would be best to pull out right then to prevent further pain). I then went into a haze when Spring Break started, playing lots and lots of Baldur's Gate II. Somewhere between that and school starting, the family unit went up to Austin to see some old friends and there we celebrated my birthday and I got my first viewings of The Exorcist and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

So now it is the Thursday after Spring Break, and things aren't that bad (besides the fact that I am desperately searching for a lovely lady to replace Sarah in my admirations... but it is of no use). I have proclaimed myself King of the Nerds by taking second place at the regional Citizen Bee, clinching a berth in the state tournament in--you guessed it--Dallas! (for those of you who don't know, we recently had our Academic Decathlon competition there too). Eric and I have also randomly decided to start up our own little fantasy baseball league... with me as the commish... if there were ever a time for evil laughter... however, we're having trouble recruiting folk who would like to join us... apparently everyone at our school has something against fantasy baseball. Besides that, Eric and I will also be writing for this fiction contest thingy... which will hopefully improve my rawish writing style for my upcoming novel which I will publish in 2024 when I can finally immerse myself in psychoticism enough to write the bloody thing (if I haven't piqued your interest yet, DIE!).

On a happier note, I have discovered that I am now addicted to Grand Theft Auto 3... probably from all that Vice City over Spring Break. I know that I will not be able to stop playing it this weeked--at least not until I take out Salvatore. That son of a bitch just won't die, I tell you! But then there's something even better than that... if it wasn't for the fact that my mom and sister were catfighting while using this computer, I would probably never have had the cowardice to stay in my room and do three of my precal problems for homework (I had to resort to homework when I failed to kill Salvatore after seven attempts). Damn... I'm so ashamed to have done my homework... not doing it was the only thing that kept me from full outright nerddom. Meh.

Anyways, I'm getting pretty tired, so I will bid you, my captivated audience a pleasant sleep and gentle nightmares. Hasta la byebye.
