Turkey juice
Thanksgiving plan: Cantay buys turkey and other goods. Danielle did most of the prep and cooking.
Upon Cantay's return from the store, Danielle puts away the groceries because she's really good at that. The turkey is suited on the second rack. Cantay says nothing because Danielle doesn't like to be questioned and the turkey had secondary wrapping.
Danielle later detects a leak after one day and puts the turkey on a plate but leaves it on the second rack.
The next day, Cantay discovers turkey juice spilling over the plate, with pools scattered all over the front of the fridge. Hours of cleanup ensue. Some food items do not survive.
Upon investigation, a hole not present at time of purchase is discovered in the primary wrapping, which allowed juice to escape.
Due to the effort expended in cleanup, which was much more extensive than would be the case if best food practices had been followed, Cantay requests that Danielle be the one to obtain a refund from the store.
Cantay's request is refused, leading to much sadness and anger by all.
