Good news, everyone!
I forgot to mention!
Prop 2 suffered a horrible and grisly death as 51.98% of Austin's citizens stabbed it with whatever vaguely sharp instruments they could get their hands on. Huzzah!
For those who are unaware, like the anonymous fellow in one of my comment boxes, Prop 2 would have prohibited the city of Austin from entering into or maintaining any development contracts that had any sort of retail elements. Is it a big deal? YES.

Also, I would like to thank the Concerned Citizen in the post below for his interest in seeing me skewer Obama. I would like to ask, Concerned Citizen, are you also John the Lexapro Man from an even earlier post?
