And today I head back to Austin, with my father driving. He's apparently going to be working there for a month or so for some sort of super-secret job. Or something.

Yesterday was the last day of The Show with Ze Frank. The first and only episode for Saturday. I was never really a part of the community that spawned from The Show, but I feel personally touched. Ze's a really cool guy that way. It's a pity that I never dove into the Sports Racer community, too, because they really seem to be the coolest group of people that could possibly congeal from the soup of the internet. Most groups suck. I've seen them firsthand. But the Sports Racers are smarter, better, faster, older. And there are definitely more girls there than I've seen elsewhere. Gender diversity helps, yo.

I'm proud even to have been on the fringe. It was a sweet, sweet fringe.
