"Cantay smash democracy! Democracy weak and girly! [Other things!]" --My suitemate (and one of my roommates for next year) Dan.

Yeah. Everyone knows about my feelings on democracy now. Including the American government. That's going to be a problem, I think. ...Oh well.

Let me cover a large amount of things in a very short amount of time!

First, sorry again for the delay (though it's not so bad now, so stop griping). Second, no, I do not have a professor named Professor Goat. I wish he were named Professor Goat, but his name is actually Hugh LeCaine Agnew; he is a French Canadian goat who teaches history (and rocks ass).

Now... let's see, I should mention housing selection. Here at This Fair George Washington University, the process is conducted online for most folks. But not me! ^.^

Freshman fellows in the honors program have the option to apply for sophomore year honors housing at this dormitory by the name of Dakota. Which I did with Dan and this fellow Greg (not my current suitemate Greg for those of you who are obsessed with my life and remember that my other suitemate is named Greg). We got a nice happy triple in Dakota, which among other things has its own bathroom, kitchen, and washer and dryer.

Other folks were, unfortunately for them, more unfortunate. Essentially, if you were not classified as a rising senior (which requires that you have something like 78 credits by the end of this spring semester) or squatting in your current dorm, then you got royally screwed if you want to live on campus. Poor Danielle (who, if you want clarification, is my girlfriend, yes) got a single occupancy room, sure, but she doesn't have anything except a refrigerator and a microwave. Other people who supposedly had kickass selection numbers and were classified as rising juniors also got screwed--it was especially bad if you weren't one of the first 500 or so juniors to select (if you were a junior--through the lovely way the process works, sophomores got a much easier run of it), then you were to be sent to a special room about the size of four football fields where you would wait your turn for a giant killer bee to rape you with its stinger. That's how bad it was. Really.

What else... oh! It was Danielle's birthday yesterday (everyone say happy birthday or die)! I went to this one mall thing with my friend Chasya and we found some surprisingly inexpensive things to purchase: Edward Scissorhands, Resevoir Dogs, and The Mars Volta's Frances the Mute, along with this happy-smelly-thingy-thing from Bath & Body Works, and all for just over $40. ^.^

And what else? Jesus... I'm writing under pressure and I cannot think of anymore. Curses! But I shall tell you this: I agree very much with Eric's last blog (hurray for Eric's last blog!) and I also hereby declare that spring break doth come near! And that much huzzahing shall come of it! So huzzah! And hasta la byebye! (And I feel like my writing style was messed up for this entry--so yeah.)

I am once again too lazy to log in.

I am so disappointed in you Mr. Can Man. Democracy is an amazing thing. I really can't understand how you could possibly think that anything else could be better.
::sigh:: I, however, am afraid that it probably wouldn't be appreciated if I was to rant and rave the way I want to, so I won't.

Oh, but if you had something remotely worth reading, it would be appreciated. It would be -nice- to have faith in democracy, after all. ^.^

Honestly, it isn't you that I'm worried wouldn't appreciate it...

Cantay, you suck! Where the hell are you? I talk to you on the phone about 10 times right after we leave on Saturday, and then I don't hear from you at all after that? What the hell.
