You know the best part about college? Buying six books you don't need and being unable to transfer into Russian on the same day!
Thankfully, those two things can be remedied rather easily.
Today was the first day of classes. I only had two, and those two were Comparative Politics and Spanish. The professor for Comparative Politics seems pretty interesting. He's a Syrian by the name of Murhaf Jouejati. Try saying that three times fast. Well, actually it's doable. But still, pretty crazy, yes?
Right now there's a small problem with books and such things in that class, so I'm not entirely certain what I'm supposed to be doing exactly. Aside from reading. And stuff. I need to try getting to work or something.
In Spanish, I felt a bit overwhelmed. Not as much as I was afraid I would be, but still quite overwhelmed. I actually decided I wanted to transfer into Russian, but by the time I finally figured I should do it, online registration suddenly closed. I can only hope it will be back up tomorrow, cause otherwise I'll have to go through the annoying process of heading over to the Russian class with an add/drop form.
I love add/drop forms! Yay!
No wait. You could detect the sarcasm couldn't you? Damn.
Oh well. I'm feeling somewhat tired strangely enough. But perhaps this will serve as a lesson to all of you not to wait too long when you want to transfer into Russian (I was considering French, you see, but no good sections of that would open up for me).
More on this and other things later! For tomorrow it's my Proseminar and Islam! W00t! Oh yeah--hasta la byebye.
